Justice wants to tackle illegal internet gambling
The Justice Department has joined forces with the FIOD-ECD, the National Police Agency, the Governing Tax Body and all legitimate online gambling organizations to focus on prosecuting those who infringe public laws and run their casinos online illegally.
The plan that was developed consisted of detecting illegal gambling, discouraging the provision of and participation in the games and prosecuting the criminals involved in the sites. The Ministry of Justice has taken action following the investigation of "Gambling on the Internet” and with the help of the National Police Agency, they were able to detect over 750 cases like this, and put an end to it immediately.
